Job Description

A financial analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic insights to support decision-making processes within an organization. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex financial models and tools. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct financial analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the organization.
  2. Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and budgeting processes.
  4. Provide recommendations and insights based on financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Monitor and analyze financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the organization's financial health.
  7. Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Conduct industry and market research to understand trends and competitive landscape.
  9. Stay updated on financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  10. Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  2. Proven work experience as a financial analyst or similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis techniques.
  4. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  10. Professional certification such as CFA or CPA is a plus.
  11. Candidates should have experience in Retail & Fashion industry
