Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and assign work to Site Engineers in accordance with GEC policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control expenses related to project work and ensure organizational forecasts and budgets are met for these expenses.
  • Handle procurement activities related to contracts and sub contracts in accordance with Company policy & procedures.
  • Undertake team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties.
  • Ensure safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and Company guidelines
  • Undertake QC reporting interaction with other departments of Company and clients to assure production schedules and deliveries are met
  • Act as a liaison with contractors and clients managing any work interfaces and enhancements to project scope.
  • Responsible for floating the enquiries, selecting the equipment as per the specifications and negotiating with the manufacturer for the equipment. 
  • Facilitate the manufacturing clearance to subcontractor for the required materials and manage the procurement process.
  • Review and evaluate technical submittals and shop drawings prior to submission to consultants and clients according to required project standards.
  • Assist in preparation of sub contract agreements and to recruit people for his area of discipline.
  • Responsible for the execution of Projects in accordance to project’s specification, budget and time frame.
  • Perform verification testing, analysis and implement corrective actions to improve the design.
  • Conduct regular risk analysis and take immediate measures to correct loopholes in the project.
  • Prepare project progress report and submit the manager on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare bills, claims and consolidate with planning engineer for the updation.
  • Responsible for performing installation as per the project plan.
  • Responsible for obtaining approval for installation adhere with QA/QC.
  • Perform other task assigned by the management.
