Payroll Specialist

Jazeera Airways is looking for Payroll Specialist who would be responsible for managing Jazeera’s payroll process. The primary duties involve processing employee salaries and ensuring that all payroll transactions are accurate and compliant with relevant labour laws.


The role also supports and address inquiries from employees regarding their pay and benefits and resolving payroll discrepancies.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Process monthly payroll accurately and timely for all employees.
  • Verify time attendance records in coordination with the concerned departments.
  • Review and process overtime as per labor law of the prevalent country.
  • Manage KSA labor law compliances.
  • Ensure accuracy of employee data on the HRMS for new hires and during employee life cycle.
  • Manage employee personal files (digital and physical files).
  • Provide guidance on the use of employee self-services portal of the HR system application.
  • Process employee exit transactions asper company policy and relevant labor laws.
  • Provide employee with details/documents for HR-related matters, including vacation, salary certificates, employment certificates etc.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR in Kuwait with a core role in handling payroll processing
  • In-depth knowledge of Kuwait Labor Law
  • Familiarity with HRMS

Senior Specialist – Talent Management & Rewards

Jazeera Airways is seeking a talented individual to join our HR team as Senior Specialist - Talent Management & Rewards who will oversee performance management, employee development and compensation and rewards initiatives.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Assist in the development, management, and review of rewards, benefits, and compensation structures across the organization.
  • Perform regular assessments of industry benchmarks and compensation surveys, ensuring our programs remain competitive and aligned with market standards.
  • Support the implementation and oversight of performance management processes, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in goal setting and performance evaluations.
  • Guide managers and employees on implementation of performance management system - facilitating goal setting, evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Utilize performance data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Support career development initiatives by working closely with managers to identify high-potential employees and develop succession plans, ensuring organizational readiness for future leadership needs.

  • Develop and execute initiatives to boost employee engagement, morale, and retention, conducting surveys and gathering feedback to drive improvement efforts.
  • Conduct thorough exit interviews and analyze turnover data, identifying trends and recommending actions to improve employee retention.
  • Develop and refine human resources policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance organizational effectiveness and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies related to compensation, benefits, and employee relations ensuring the organization's practices remain compliant and adaptive to evolving requirements.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent management, performance management, and/or compensation and rewards
  • Strong understanding of talent management principles, performance evaluation processes, and compensation practices.

Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to develop marketing communications campaigns, supervise content and design requirements to manage the Jazeera brand and brand identity according to brand platforms & guidelines.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Manage implementation of brand strategy platform across all external and internal communications. Ensure all key stakeholders understand the brand positioning and direction
  • Supervise implementation and correct usage of corporate identity in all environments across the J9 network according to brand guidelines. Be the guardian of the brand and protect its equity
  • Develop campaigns for brand, product and services, new route launches, brief agencies on requirements and manage creative development & production
  • Ensure correct processes with agency partners are followed – creative briefs, review meetings, internal approvals and delivery of materials to media owners
  • Liaise with Sales teams to develop relevant local campaigns, design collateral materials
  • Supervise Graphic Designer in creating all in-house design requirements: advertising, web content, edms, social posts.
  • Manage the creation and production of branded content for social media including still and video shoots. Ensure J9 image/video database is properly maintained
  • Liaise with IT/E-Commerce to ensure website identity, imagery and copy are accurate
  • Supervise the publication of the J9 in-flight magazine and ensure design and content is correct
  • Manage PR agency and develop PR strategy for regular publicity to promote the airline - using relevant press releases and consumer PR stories
  • Develop events to support major airline corporate stories, product launches and new route announcements
  • Manage local sponsorship activations


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration specializing in Marketing/ Sales or related field,
  • Minimum 5 years of in-depth experience in a similar role or experience working in brand or marketing function, with at least 1 years with a local or regional brand or aviation.
  • Financial & commercial awareness
  • Team player with strong coordination skills and possess the ability to work under pressure
  • Energetic and have a sense of urgency in finishing tasks
  • Attention to detail, quality and meticulousness of tasks

Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to manage the social media platforms for Jazeera Airways, deliver relevant campaigns to grow and activate followers and ensure timely response to customer queries.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Manage implementation of Jazeera Airways social media strategy across key channels: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube.
  • Create calendar for social postings to support marketing campaigns, grow fan bases and increase engagement.
  • Support key Jazeera Airways messages – product & service messages, route launches, and corporate news.
  • Supervise creation and production of relevant content to support social postings (video, stills, infographics etc).
  • Monitor all social postings from Jazeera Airways and ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Develop briefs for campaigns based on marketing plans, brief agency partner and manage development for internal review.
  • Supervise community management with the Agency and Call Centre and ensuring customer enquiries/ complaints are resolved in good time.
  • Produce regular social media reports and updates.
  • Oversee technical implementation of Customer Loyalty programs across all the channels.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in relevant subject.

MOCC Controller

Jazeera Airways is looking for MOCC Controller who would be responsible for continuous monitoring of aircraft technical status and ensuring correct short term (24 hours) maintenance planning and AOG recovery.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Monitor all Line Maintenance activities for Jazeera fleet, in respect of Scheduled/unscheduled Line Maintenance, Defect Rectification, AOG's and aircraft rescue.
  • Liaise with all relevant departments including Operations Department, Flight Operations, and Maintenance engineering staff, contracted maintenance organizations and Materials department.
  • Monitor where necessary, base maintenance activities in order to affect the most efficient fleet operational availability.
  • Monitor base maintenance activities in order to communicate the re-introduction of the aircraft to the operational fleet after maintenance.
  • Monitor and arrange for maintenance ground time if there is an operational requirement or an opportunity to carry additional routine maintenance.
  • When the opportunity arises, arrange for other pending maintenance activity to be performed on an aircraft grounded for unscheduled maintenance.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • B1/B2 Licensed Engineer with A320 type rating.
  • 3-5 years of Aircraft Maintenance Experience within MCC.
  • Time management, team-work, leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communications skills especially in English.


IT Support Specialist

Jazeera Airways is looking for IT Support Specialist(s) who would be responsible for all aspects of network administration including servers, desktop systems, security systems, communications, office systems and hardware/software.


In addition to above, the position is also responsible for first level support of outsourced applications and co-ordinate with service provider to resolve the user problems.



Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Handle all related matters to Jazeera Terminal enterprise network and system monitoring, management, maintenance and configuration.
  • Handle network administration (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems including e-mail, web server, internet access, office systems and applications support).
  • Support server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications.
  • Roll out hardware and software to ensure optimal deployment of resources.
  • Plan, implement, and support the network and computing infrastructure plan.
  • Support Remote station offices for any IT related problems.
  • Support any other software/hardware platform for business.
  • Provide IT support for check-in, immigration, customs and security systems.
  • Handle CCTV system installation and support.
  • Perform any additional IT systems related business work not specifically mentioned in addition to above as necessitated by overall business objectives and requirements of the organization


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or High Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support included 2 years in System and Network administration.
  • Demonstrate a good knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products, setting up remote access for users and PBX systems.
  • Ability to administer a 200+ node network including firewalls, VPN, networked printers and photocopiers, UPS, CCTV etc.
  • Ability to provide application level support and vendor co-ordination for user problem resolution
  • Ready to work in a different schedule as assigned by Manager and based on the operational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Have a valid Kuwaiti driving license.


AOG Desk Controller

Jazeera Airways is looking for experienced AOG Desk Controller to ensure that all materials requests received for Aircraft on ground are acted upon promptly and involved stakeholders are kept updated on the status of each request.



Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Responsible with the acquisition of all material requirements for aircraft on ground and critical requirements for defects. To expedited and deliver the parts at the required destination in the shortest time possible as per set quality standards.
