Kitchen Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Staff to join our team in Kuwait. As a Kitchen Staff, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals, as well as maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to recipes and portion sizes.
2. Ensure that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest quality standards.
3. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to prevent food contamination.
4. Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment before, during, and after each shift.
5. Assist in the receiving, storage, and rotation of food and supplies.
6. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, and disposing of trash.
7. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
9. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff members.
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Prior experience working in a kitchen or food service environment.
2. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
3. Ability to work well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
8. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
9. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
10. Food safety certification is a plus.
