Job Description

  • Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
  • Operate telephone equipment and other telecommunications equipment
  • Use a prepared script to influence customers in purchasing product
  • Document transactions in forms and record logs
  • Maintain database through entering and verifying data
  • Follow manufacturer’s instructions to keep equipment operational
  • Follow organizational standards to maintain quality service
  • Maintain technical knowledge by reviewing publications and attending educational workshops


Skills

  • Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
  • Track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to conduct sales and marketing calls, with knowledge of sales techniques
  • Relaxed, confident telephone manner
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
