Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for ensuring exceptional laundry services? We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Laundry Supervisor to oversee our laundry operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: 

• Supervise and lead a team of laundry staff, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and perform their duties effectively.
• Plan and schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and maximize productivity.
• Train new employees on safe and efficient laundry procedures, including the proper use of machinery and chemicals.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of linens and other textiles, placing orders as necessary to ensure the uninterrupted flow of operations.
• Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to company standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring the highest level of service.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry facility, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of laundry services and meet customer expectations.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What do we need from you?

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the laundry industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving set targets
• Extensive knowledge of laundry operations, including various cleaning techniques, machinery, and chemicals
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work and meeting customer specifications
• Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of quickly identifying and resolving operational issues
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the job
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and other departments
• Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings, if required.
