We are seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer with experience in both the Power Sector and Oil & Gas Industry to join our dynamic team. The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for crafting comprehensive proposals tailored to the unique needs of clients within these sectors. This role requires a deep understanding of technical requirements, project management, and industry standards to effectively communicate our capabilities and solutions.

Location: This job is located on-site in our new office in Lahore

Responsibilities:

• Develop proposals and bids for projects based on client requirements.
• Utilizing AutoCAD and other software to create detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical/Mechanical systems.
• Collaborating with sales teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure proposals meet technical and financial objectives.
• Providing technical support and expertise during the proposal development process.
• Researching and recommending innovative solutions and technologies to enhance proposals.
• Reviewing project specifications, contracts, and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Communicating effectively with clients to address inquiries and clarify technical details.
• Participating in meetings and presentations to pitch proposals to clients.
• Continuously updating knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices related to engineering and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Proposal Engineer or similar role in the Power Sector and Oil & Gas Industry.
• In-depth knowledge of power generation systems, transmission and distribution networks, as well as oil & gas exploration, production, and processing.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management practices.
• Proficiency in proposal development tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management platforms.
• Practical familiarity with design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, enabling hands-on engagement with project schematics and plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in English (knowledge of other languages is preferred).
• Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and project evaluations.
