We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team and contribute to the successful completion of projects across various industries. Responsibilities:
1. Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software and manual drafting techniques.
2. Interpret rough sketches, specifications, and requirements to produce accurate and comprehensive drawings for construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
3. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project objectives, scope, and design specifications.
4. Prepare layout and assembly drawings, schematics, and diagrams for structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural components.
5. Revise and update drawings based on feedback, design changes, or project modifications.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all drafting activities.
7. Maintain drawing files, documentation, and records in an organized and accessible manner.
8. Assist in the preparation of material lists, cost estimates, and project documentation as required.
9. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve technical issues related to drafting and design.
10. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards while performing job duties.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
2. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit.
3. Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail in drafting and design work.
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
5. Familiarity with drafting standards, practices, and principles.
6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Willingness to learn and adapt to new software tools and technologies.
8. Previous experience in drafting or related field is preferred but not required.
