Job Purpose
• Provide SHES direction, guidance and leadership to Project Onshore PMT and CONTRACTOR(s) across all EPC Packages within the assigned area.
• Perform oversight of project Onshore SHES performance management process to ensure Project and client performance expectations are met.
• Support PMT and CONTRACTOR SHES teams of all EPC packages and Shared Resources in the implementation and verification of the project Onshore SHES Performance related Plans and Procedures through systematic performance measuring.
• Support the project Onshore EPC CONTRACTORS and provide expert advice and guidance on SHES performance management, measuring and continual improvement to all PMT and CONTRACTOR personnel at all levels of the organisation, and during all phases of the Project.
• Supports the SHES Head in developing, evaluating, and continually improving the SHES Performance Excellence elements of the PMT and CONTRACTOR SHES management systems, and the effective implementation of SHES plans and procedures at site in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the Contract SHES Instructions Part 1 to 5, and CONTRACTOR’s SHES plans and Procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
• Supports the Project’s Onshore project in all SHES related disciplines and scope of work but with specific SHES focus on performance management and monitoring, contractual performance compliance, and continual improvement of the management system and its associated plans and procedures.
• Supports the SHES Head Shared Resources as the key focal point for the overall project SHES perfromance management.
• Provides oversight of EPC CONTRACTORS and Subcontractors SHES performance and drives performance excellence in all SHES related aspects.
• Support SHES audits relevant to the project SHES management system and participates in PMT and CONTRACTOR SHES assurance activities as required.
• Support the implementation of project’s Onshore SHES Management System, its Plans, Procedures and Programs, performs evaluations on the effectiveness of relevant activities.
• Provide strategic advice and support to the SHES Excellence Division Manager and ensures effective implementation of SHES excellence programs consistent with established project’s SHES strategy, goals, and objectives.
• Assist the SHES Excellence Division Manager with development, implementation, and stewardship of a comprehensive and integrated project’s Onshore SHES Excellence Program.
• Coordinate Third Party support services as required and oversees the delivery of such service in accordance with established service agreements.
• Act as advisor when requested in the development of project SHES policies and procedures related to performance enhancement.
• Keep up to date with international developments in performance management and measuring methodologies for potential continual improvements of SHES programs.
Reports to SHES Excellence Division Manager (Shared Resources).
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science, or equivalent or higher
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, or higher.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate
