Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

We are looking for a skilled Receptionist to join our automotive company in Doha, Qatar. As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, and you will provide administrative support across the organization. The Receptionist will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:

  1. Welcome and greet visitors and direct them appropriately.
  2. Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
  3. Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  4. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  5. Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  6. Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
  7. Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  8. Update calendars and schedule meetings/appointments.
  9. Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.
  10. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.


Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  3. Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  4. Professional attitude and appearance
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
  7. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in stressful situations.
  9. High school diploma: additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
  10. Fluency in English (both written and spoken)


Preferred Candidate:

  1. Excellent Communication Skills
  2. Must have good personality.
  3. Preferred Arabic Speakers / Proficiency in Arabic
