Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The job holder is accountable for the following activities during project execution by Major Project Division:

To provide welding engineering, metallurgy and non-destructive testing expertise across the different Projects managed by the Major Project Division.
To implement the Technical Referential and applicable local and international codes.
To assist Projects in the execution of the FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction,transportation and offshore installation works.
To interface with Engineering and Construction Department with the Technical Reference Person (TRP) for the management of Derogation impacting Technical Referential.

Skills

QUALIFICATION

Qualification: Master’s degree in welding - ESSA / IWE / EWE certifications also required.
Professional Experience (number of years) : 15 in a similar position.
Experience within project : (number of years) : 10 years of experience associated with Piping and Structural works.
A good knowledge of international codes/standards related to Piping & Structural design, fabrication and inspection.
Comprehensive knowledge in welding, material, corrosion (inc SSCC) and NDE.
Good leadership skills and good communication skills.
Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment,
Be skilled in using computer programs for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and e-mail communications.
H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.
