The project: 


This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. 


Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

  • You will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, up to C-Suite, to implement and manage our programmes.


You’ll be responsible for:


  • Manage the negotiation of contracts, costs and purchases order details, propose strategies and offer solutions to help optimize supplies and vendor services costs.


  • Ensure the execution and administration of complex contract agreements and lead communication with suppliers to ensure proper delivery of required services and meet business needs.


  • Manage the communication with the various departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure development of a procurement plan accordingly to answer desired needs and requirements.


  • Review the procurement plan based on the rising priorities and business needs of concerned function heads in coordination with concerned stakeholders.


  • Review bid solicitation packages and determine contract agreements award after bids have been solicited while serving as a primary agent in expediting contract agreements through the corporate review proceedings.


  • Enhance suppliers’ lists, suppliers’ prequalification, development of forms, requests for proposals and requests for quotation to recommended vendors that better serve the organization’s needs and requirements.


  • Manage the reviewing of bid tabulations for accuracy, supplier recommendation, completeness and selection of suppliers and ensure all commitments made are accurately presented and have proper approval and signing authorities, as contained in the Procurement Procedures.


  • Ensure compliance of all procurement activities with the set project procurement policies and procedures.


  • Manage the development and enhancement of frequent, periodic, accurate and high-quality reports to ensure complete documentation of procurement activities.


  • Evaluate and analyze vendor proposals and prepare commercial evaluation reports.


  • Manage the achievement of departmental objectives through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance.


  • Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge teams providing opportunities for growth and development within the team.


You’ll need to have:


  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain or related field.


  • Professional certifications


  • Holding one of the following certifications is an advantage: (CIPS), (CPSM), (CSCP).


  • Extensive years of experience.


  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
  • Good communication skills.
