Job Description

The role is responsible for directing estimating & tendering and all associated activities related to tender preparation and submittal.

This ideal incumbent will be responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating all aspects of bid management for the organization. This role will drive and coordinate estimation and bid preparation, submission, clarification, and manage all resources to achieve a successful outcome to contract award and operational handover.


Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor various tender portals on a routine basis to identify any contracts of relevance to the company, either to bid or for market intelligence purposes.
  • Study, analyze, and evaluate tender documents from a technical point of view to identify risk factors, ensuring that technical terms comply with the relevant standards for the overall risk assessment and bid decision.
  • Evaluating subcontractor and vendor proposals both from a technical and commercial perspective
  • Liaise with procurement to negotiate with approved vendors/suppliers and subcontractors for various supplies/materials as per project (pre/post tender).
  • Consolidates tender documents for management review and approval.
  • Provide all the necessary project information on margin analysis as well as contingent liabilities on the tender document to the management team in weekly meetings along with contractual rights, and remedies which have been taken into consideration during tendering
  • Participate in pre-bid job ex-meetings and corporate/client presentation meetings as required.
  • Ensure historical data is documented and archived on each quoted project
  • Conduct site visits during the bidding
  • Conduct/coordinate route test studies for the operation requirements
  • Communicating with technical staff regarding status updates.
  • Oversee the preparation of certain proposal sections, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with RFPs.
  • Manage Company Subscriptions to Various Customer Portals.
  • Distribute Portal Updates to the tender team.
  • Follow-up Renewals of Company Documents with Departments
  • Collect information from Departments for prequalification packages.
  • Prepare Prequalification Packages for Submission.
  • Submit Prequalification and Registration Packages on time.
