Job Description

1. Protocol Development and Implementation:

· Develop and implement protocol guidelines and policies that align with the company's objectives and the expectations of high-profile clients and government officials.

· Ensure that these guidelines are updated and communicated effectively across the organization.

2. Event Management:

· Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring they adhere to protocol standards. This includes official receptions, meetings, and any other events involving VIPs.

· Coordinate with various departments to ensure logistical aspects, such as seating arrangements, hospitality, and security, are in line with protocol requirements.

3. VIP Relations:

· Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP clients and government officials. Manage these relationships with the utmost respect, discretion, and professionalism.

· Handle any protocol-related inquiries and provide advice on protocol matters to colleagues and stakeholders.

4. Training and Advising:

· Develop and conduct protocol training programs for employees, ensuring they understand how to interact with high-profile clients and officials appropriately.

· Advise senior management and staff on protocol, cultural nuances, and diplomatic communication strategies.

5. Communication:

· Facilitate communication between the company, clients, and government officials, ensuring messages are conveyed clearly, respectfully, and in accordance with protocol.

· Prepare and review official correspondence, invitations, and acknowledgments to ensure they meet protocol standards.

6. Crisis Management:

· Anticipate and manage sensitive situations or potential protocol breaches, providing guidance and solutions to mitigate any negative impact.

7. Cultural Sensitivity:

· Demonstrate a deep understanding of and respect for cultural differences and international protocols. Ensure that the company’s activities reflect this understanding.

8. Networking and Representation:

· Represent the company at official functions, establishing and maintaining relationships with counterparts in other organizations, government bodies, and the private sector.
