DevOps Manager

Penta Consulting are a global leader professional and managed solutions across the Middle East. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Lead to join our team. The DevOps Lead will play a pivotal role in driving our DevOps practices, optimising development and deployment processes, and ensuring the stability and scalability of the systems our clients. This is a position that requires a deep understanding of DevOps principles, strong technical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a talented team of engineers.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Azure DevOps Lead to join our team and take ownership of the production, QA, and development environments. As the Azure DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, monitoring, maintenance, and support of these environments. You will play a pivotal role in driving our transition to cloud-native technologies, enhancing our overall site reliability, and maintaining high operational SLAs and SLOs.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust monitoring systems that proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system failures. This includes setting up monitoring tools, establishing alerting mechanisms, and conducting regular system health checks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and QA engineers, to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Implementing efficient CI/CD pipelines, automating build and deployment processes, and establishing effective release management practices.
• Lead the adoption and integration of cloud-native technologies, with a particular focus on the Azure Cloud Platform.
• Evaluate, implementing, and managing cloud services and infrastructure to enhance the scalability, reliability, and security of our software solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Ansible, and Azure DevOps..
• DevOps best practices. You will actively research and explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies such as Containers, Kubernetes, SRE etc to drive innovation and continuous improvement within our organization.
• As a DevOps Lead, you will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers. You will provide guidance, support, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture to ensure the successful execution of DevOps initiatives.
