Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Pricing and Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience, specifically in landscape projects. As a Pricing and Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of landscape projects, preparing pricing proposals, and analyzing data to ensure profitability and competitiveness in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Review landscape project requirements and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Analyze project data, including materials, labor, and equipment costs, to determine accurate pricing proposals for landscape projects.
- Collaborate with landscape architects, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive and competitive pricing proposals for landscape projects to clients.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure the best value for landscape projects.
- Monitor and track project costs throughout the lifecycle of landscape projects to ensure profitability and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze historical project data of landscape projects to improve accuracy and efficiency in future cost estimation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions specific to landscape projects to ensure competitiveness in pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to provide support and guidance on pricing-related matters for landscape projects.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pricing strategies and policies specific to landscape projects.
Preferred Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in pricing and estimation, specifically in landscape projects.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
