Technician BIM Modeller

This job requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technician BIM Modeller to work in our team based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate 3D models and drawings for various construction projects. They will work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the models accurately represent the design intent and are coordinated with other disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of BIM software and construction processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain accurate 3D models and drawings using BIM software
2. Ensure that the models are coordinated with other disciplines, such as architecture, structure, and MEP
3. Review design documents and identify any discrepancies or clashes
4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any coordination issues
5. Generate accurate quantity take-offs and material schedules from the BIM models
6. Produce high-quality 2D drawings and reports for construction and coordination purposes
7. Stay updated with the latest BIM software and industry standards
8. Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and workflows
9. Provide technical support and training to other team members
10. Ensure that all work is completed within the specified timelines and budget

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum 2 years of experience working as a BIM Modeller in the construction industry
2. Proficient in BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes and terminology
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
7. Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards
8. Experience with clash detection and coordination software
9. Knowledge of 4D and 5D BIM concepts is a plus
10. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
