1- Project scope, schedule and budget.
2- Performance Report and earned value analysis are a good start, It should give a clear idea about the work done and how it was done.
3- Risk Register, to know what was the risks that was controlled and what is to be monitored
1.) Knowledge Transfer trough Face 2 Face meetings
2.) Project White Book
3.) Project Charter , Project reports ( scope, Risk, )
As team member I need to explain/show/prepare my up to date progress report including all Projects I work on with completion.

I would have an extensive conversation with him and go through our job plan. I would invite him or her to the rig to see our operations in action so they would have a better understanding.
