  • Leaders motivate their employees, which then inspires them to follow their leader’s example. Bosses tend to push employees instead of directing them
  • leaders spend time listening to their employees rather than talking above them Bosses tend to dominate conversations. They expect employees to listen and carry out their commands, with little or no direction

Leadership is the ability to influence others' behavior and guide them toward a specific goal

The presidency expresses the official relationship between the president and the subordinates where the president issues orders and instructions to the subordinates and subordinates to abide by the orders and instructions issued by the president and if they did not implement them were held accountable.

The leader derives his actual authority from his ability to influence the behavior of others so that he gets obedient and responds to his orders and instructions with full conviction and trust between the leader and followers.

The source of the authority of the President is the official authority granted to the President through his position in the organizational structure of the facility and its ability to issue orders to the other two and follow up their implementation.

Presidents can use their powers in a leadership style based on the participation of subordinates in making decisions, knowing their views, their views, taking them into consideration, persuading them and gaining their trust. Thus, the president can enjoy leadership qualities.

If presidents do not care about the needs of the group and do not interact with them and distinguish themselves from the subordinates using official power, in this case the leaders do not have the characteristics of the leaders.

The leader combines the official authority derived from the regulations and laws and the personal authority stemming from the love of his followers and their conviction of his policies and decisions.

.Therefore, any leader can be president and not necessarily be each president

From my experience, a boss is a position entrusted to you by a person of authority and conveyed to you accordingly. A leader, on the other hand, is someone who has earned your trust, credibility and respect to such an extent that you willingly and perhaps blindly follow his lead even if that peraon is not in a position of authority. Hope this makes sense.

A person who only knows how to manage a team well is a boss, however a leader is an inspiration for everyone in organization and not limited to a team. A true leader always guides everyone to achieve goal with perfection.

First of all, the boss, is that person who has authority upon employees regarding his position (supervisor, manager,..). He might be a leader، it depends on his behavior and characteristics. There is a lot of leadership styles also depending on the characteristics of that person. But in general leaders are who encourage people, care for them, work with them, solve their problems... Etc. Also, the leader can be found in any level of the organization, he might not be in any managerial position, but he has influence on others. We used to say that bosses only care about results no matter what. But to be fair you may find great leaders upon them
