Microsoft Office is a good to have but not necessary, I have visited a vendor before and they are using open office/libre office...but they are just a lean design agency and been running there business for years without using Microsoft Office.

Productivity wise though, most of us have been accustomed to using M$ Office but lately I have noticed that most of my contacts are either using365 or Google Docs which on my end another good options.

The applications included in Office are called and productivity solutions and have become integral part of our office as well as personal life.  Name any app in Office, and think, "Can I live without it?"  Exce, Power Point, Outlook, OneNote etc. etc. have made our life much easier.

Though there are few competitors but I don't think they are worth mentioning here.  So Office is leader and it is now an 'obsolute necesscity' for our lives.

microsoft office is very good application for the buisness puposes, it save our time with this we can peform our work efficiently.

Once you start using Microsoft Office suite... You'll love working with it... It eases your work...

It depends if your work is only writing business letters and respond to emails word and outlook is good for that.

If your work depends on charts and shows like meetings that powerpoint is good for that.

If your work depends on tables and calculatings Excel is good for that.

Every company has its own type of work and what is the most things they need even fillings area online or using softwares for the needed things.

MS Office is an excellent supporting anyone using a system, especially for a professional. If you are going for latest versions Above 2016, artificial intelligence is built in (Excel), wherein all the repeatable tasks are automaticallay taken over.

All the components - Word - Excel - Powerpoint - and Outlook are so supportive, that you need little or no additional software.

I have seen in 2016 version, that even tutorilas are also incorporated.

I am using MS Office 2016 and feeling happier as I keep on more perfect as my awareness towards its utility is increasing day-by-day.
