Autocad Draftsman

We are hiring for a leading manufacturer specializing in trailers, mixer trucks, cement bulker storage silo truck bodies, tanks, and tanker cargo bodies. We are currently seeking a skilled Autocad Draftsman to join our dynamic team in Ajman.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Autocad software to create detailed drawings and designs for trailers, mixer trucks, cement bulker storage silo truck bodies, tanks, and tanker cargo bodies.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate conceptual designs into technical drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications and standards in all drafted designs.
• Modify and revise drawings as necessary to accommodate changes and improvements.
• Create 2D and 3D models of components and assemblies for manufacturing purposes.
• Work closely with production teams to provide support and clarification on design specifications.
• Review and analyze technical documents and blueprints to ensure compatibility and feasibility.
• Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings and revisions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Autocad Draftsman in a similar role, preferably in trailer and truck body design.
• Proficiency in Autocad software and other relevant design tools.
• Strong understanding of drafting techniques, standards, and best practices.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
