As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:


  • Demonstrate advanced culinary skills in preparing a wide range of dishes for all-day dining and in-room dining services.
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items meet the established standards.
  • Contribute to menu planning and development for all-day dining and in-room dining, considering guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Culinary to introduce innovative and appealing dishes.
  • Oversee the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring efficient workflow and timely food preparation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
  • Implement and enforce hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen team to maintain a harmonious working environment.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to address guest preferences, special requests, and dietary requirements.
  • Actively engage with guests to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to enhance the dining experience.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of special events, banquets, and promotions related to all-day dining and in-room dining.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:


  • Culinary degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Additional certifications in food safety and kitchen management are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Previous experience in hotel all-day dining and in-room dining preferred.
  • Proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Knowledgeable about food trends, dietary preferences, and allergens.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house teams, and guests.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a high-volume kitchen operation.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, handle pressure, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to fostering teamwork and a positive kitchen culture.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide the kitchen team toward excellence.
  • Genuine passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and exceeding guest expectations.
