Job Summary:
As a seasoned Coffee Trader with over 4 years of extensive experience in global coffee trading, particularly within the Middle East, Qatar, Gulf markets and globally, you will lead our trading activities, driving growth and profitability in these key regions. Leveraging your deep understanding of regional market dynamics, strong industry relationships, and proven track record in coffee trading, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and maximizing trading opportunities across diverse geographical regions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coffee Trading Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive trading strategies tailored to the Middle East, Qatar, Gulf market and Globally leveraging your in-depth knowledge of regional coffee demand, supply chains, pricing trends, and competitive landscape.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of global coffee market trends, including supply and demand dynamics, geopolitical factors, and consumer preferences, to identify trading opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
3. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with coffee producers, suppliers, brokers, traders, and other industry stakeholders across the Middle East and global markets, fostering partnerships and facilitating trade transactions.
4. Trade Execution: Execute buying and selling orders for coffee commodities, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while managing risks and exposure effectively.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, trade policies, and import/export regulations governing coffee trading activities in the Middle East and other global markets, including documentation management and customs clearance procedures.
6. Risk Management: Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate exposure to market volatility, currency fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, and other operational risks, safeguarding trading activities and optimizing outcomes.
7. Market Expansion: Identify and explore opportunities for market expansion and diversification within the Middle East, Qatar, Gulf, and other global markets, driving business growth and competitive advantage through strategic initiatives and market penetration strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in commodity trading or financial analysis preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in coffee trading, with a focus on the Middle East, Qatar, Gulf, and other global markets.
- Deep knowledge of UAE customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements, with a proven track record of successfully navigating customs clearance processes.
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in market research, data analysis, and trading software/tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
