Cooker/ Chef- Private Palace

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook/ Chef to join our team at a private palace in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a maximum of 5 years. The Cook/ Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious and nutritious meals for the residents and guests of the palace. They will work closely with the household staff to ensure that all dietary requirements and preferences are met. The successful candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong attention to detail. They must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook meals according to the residents' and guests' dietary requirements and preferences
2. Create menus and meal plans
3. Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized
4. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
5. Supervise and train kitchen staff
6. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
7. Collaborate with the household staff to ensure smooth meal service
8. Assist with special events and functions
9. Stay up-to-date with current culinary trends and techniques

Preferred Candidate:

1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
2. Degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field
3. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Attention to detail and ability to multitask
7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
8. Team player and positive attitude
9. Experience working in a private residence or high-end restaurant is an asset
