Description
Oversee the entire AI/ML development life cycle, from ideation and prototyping to deployment, optimisation, and integration, ensuring the successful implementation of AI-driven solutions across various business functions.Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for the growth and evolution of the AI/ML department, ensuring the team's capabilities and resources remain aligned with the company's long-term strategic objectives.Identify and prioritise key areas for AI integration across various functions, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.Build and lead a high-performance team of AI/ML researchers, engineers, and data scientists, providing technical leadership, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions, universities, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation and knowledge sharing.


Profile
Hold a Ph.D. or a master's degree in computer science, Machine Learning, or a related field.10 years' experience in leading AI/ML teams and projectsExtensive hands-on experience (8-10 years) in the research, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions, ideally in an industrial or enterprise setting, with a proven track record of translating research findings into operational, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various machine learning techniques, including deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and Large Language Models (LLMs).Extensive experience in machine learning operations, with a solid understanding of scalability and cost optimisation.Proficiency in programming languages (Python, R) and experience with relevant AI/ML platforms, frameworks, and tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark, Hadoop, etc.), as well as data management and analysis tools (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).Strong understanding of machine learning operations (MLOps), including techniques for scalability, cost optimisation, and production-ready deployment of AI/ML models in enterprise environments
