Interior Architect 

Working with the Business Group Manager for Design and Planning, the Middle East office is looking for an Interior Designer with a background in the design of commercial office fit-out, retail, and hospitality design to lead and grow our interior design capability.

Job Summary: 

The Interior Designer will be responsible for leading the design of interior spaces, from conceptual development to project installation. The Senior Interior Designer will work closely with clients, project managers, and other design professionals to create innovative and functional interior designs that meet project requirements and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design the interior spaces, from conceptual development to IFC.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other design professionals to understand project requirements and develop design solutions that meet project goals and exceed client expectations
• Develop Concept, Schematic, Detailed design, Tender, IFC drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
• Create and present design concepts, mood boards, and other visual representations to clients and other stakeholders
• Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other project partners to ensure successful project delivery
• Mentor and train junior designers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Keep up-to-date with the latest interior design trends and technologies, and incorporate them into project designs as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and standards for interior design projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in interior design.
• Strong design, solid technical knowledge, effective project organisation skills and an intelligent client management approach. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders
• Experience managing and mentoring junior designers
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards for interior design projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve skills
• The role will require ownership of the design process from inception to completion taking the client from initial briefing stage through concept and scheme design and documentation. 
• As a multidisciplinary organisation, the role will include design coordination with all disciplines and subconsultants. 
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and Sketchup will be required to deliver fast track projects and detail a project to tight deadlines. You must be able to attend client-facing site meetings and have a level of construction knowledge liaise with construction teams and deliver fantastic construction quality.
