Job summary
MISSION:
Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project schedules, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
TASKS:
Developing detailed project schedules, including activities, milestones, resource requirements, and critical paths, using Primavera P6 software; Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables; Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential schedule constraints and develop mitigation strategies; Monitoring project progress against baseline schedules, identifying deviations or delays, and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity; Generating progress reports, variance analyses, and performance metrics to communicate project status and forecast future trends; Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to integrate their schedules into the overall project plan and ensure alignment with project timelines; Participating in project meetings, reviews, and audits to provide scheduling expertise and support project decision-making processes; Providing guidance and training to junior planning staff and project team members on scheduling best practices.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus; 10+ years of experience in the role managing complex EPC Offshore Oil & Gas Projects; Proficiency in Primavera P6 software and other project management tools; Strong understanding of front-end engineering design (FEED) processes and project management methodologies; Fluent level of written and spoken English.
