DESCRIPTION
We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician for our newly established Innovation lab in Abu Dhabi.
The right candidate will be a helping the ACES Innovation Lab team in below activities :
Project administration / New Physical Lab testing equipment's :
a. Fabrication/Prototyping Support on the floor for Projects during the trials/pilot phase.
b. Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.
c. React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected stakeholders and work efficiently to fix the issue.
d. Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers.
e. Management of contractors.
f. Expert in basic trouble shooting of Lab equipment’s( training will be provided).
Key job responsibilities
The right candidate will be a helping the Operations integration team in below activities :
1.Multiple Projects Pilot/prototype Run and administration.
2. Physical testing of new equipment's.
3. Connecting with new Vendor's for equipment's to create MENA's Own vendor base
4. Lab coordinator for any fabrication/physical improvement project.
A day in the life
Right candidate has the ability to lead other technicians, design solutions for challenging problems, manage outside vendors, be on call for emergencies, to handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet tough time lines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
2. Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
3. Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment) / Automation systems.
4. Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
5. Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience of high voltage switching .
2. Experience of sortation machines .
3. Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners .
4. Experience of print and apply machines .
5. Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng .
