Job Description

  • Design Leadership:
  • Lead the design process, from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality and innovative architectural solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate architectural concepts into overall project objectives.
  • Design Development:
  • Develop and refine design concepts based on client requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory considerations.
  • Produce detailed drawings, models, and specifications using various design software.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure that all architectural designs comply with local building codes, Authorities regulations, and International Standards.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Client Interaction:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Attend meetings and present design proposals and project progress to clients and stakeholders.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Demonstrate expertise in architectural design principles, construction materials, and building systems.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable design practices.
  • Quality Control:
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout the design progress to avoid any conflict or missing information.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) engineers, and other consultants.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to architects and team members.
  • Technology Integration:
  • Utilize advanced architectural software and technology for design and project management.
  • Implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and standards.
  • Sustainability and Green Building:
  • Integrate sustainable design principles and green building practices into architectural projects.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE’s sustainability guidelines and regulations.


Skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Not less than 10 years of relevant experience in architectural design.
  • Not less than 7 years of experience in the consultancy field.


SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS:

  • Rich Experience in design engineering disciplines techniques, and best practices.
  • Rich experience in UAE building codes and authorities’ requirements, regulations, and international codes and standards.
  • Rich Experience in developing detailed design and tender documents, including interdisciplinary coordination and quality control to manage and deliver projects on time.
  • Mastery of design software such as AutoCAD, with Revit experience being advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in both Arabic and English, with strong negotiation and presentation skills.


PRE-QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture.
