Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and reviews structural engineering design studies drawings and documents.
  • Perform technical reviews of engineering consultant output where the work is subcontracted for steel or precast works.
  • Structural analysis and design using one or more of structural program.
  • Coordinate between structural drawings and MEP
  • Indicate project and tasks duration.


Skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience of which 5 years in a similar position.
  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering
  • Experience on multi-disciplinary design projects.
  • Well-versed with structural calculation for different load cases Static and dynamic analysis.
  • Familiar with industry-standard codes ACI, IBC, BSI, etc.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient with software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, etc.
  • Proficient in preparing reports and calculations.
  • Ability to work on Navis work/Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience with UAE building design standards and regulations.
  • DM (unlimited floors) license is not a must but has an added advantage.
