Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day site activities, supervise field staff and sub-contractors.
  • Review construction drawings, method statements and equipment deployment.
  • Inspect works, approve completed activities, milestones and invoices.
  • Monitor site for hazards, non-conformities and ensure corrective actions.
  • Track project progress, costs against program, resolve delays promptly.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and external parties on site matters.
  • Train, guide and mentor junior engineers in planning and execution.
  • Compile documentation, progress and handover reports.
  • Execute work that adheres to quality, health, safety, and environmental considerations, as well as commitment and excellence.


Skills

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering and construction management.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
