About the Opportunity


Oberon is recruiting highly qualified electrical technicians and foremen from the Middle East, to provide job opportunities in the United States. Oberon will support and guide through the visa process, and will provide competitive pay and benefits.


Job Description Key Tasks and Responsibilities


  • Perform hands-on installation electrical solutions for commercial and industrial facilities in accordance with the scope of work, and ensure quality and on-time completion of assigned projects
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and LED Lighting fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
  • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
  • Pulling materials by model and part number- transport equipment and tools to and from the job site, if needed
  • Keep the work area clean of debris and loose tools. Trash cleanup and movement of materials
  • Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and repairing systems activities as needed and respond to service calls
  • Measure materials as well as cutting, stripping, bending electrical wires, tracing shorted circuits, and checking for loose connections
  • Be comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding Use and operate man lifts and boom lifts up to 30-40 feet
  • Assist with loading or unloading of trucks and staging material when needed
  • Maintain tools and maintenance equipment in working order
  • Maintain a safe working environment while demonstrating safe work habits and proper care of equipment and tools

Skills

What we’re looking for:

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Must have 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in the Middle East
  • Must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Understanding of LED fixtures and applications
  • Ability to ascend/descend ladders and scaffolding. Ability to work on heights
  • Good computer skills
  • Middle East Drivers license or driving skills is a plus
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
  • Strong work ethics and listening skills. Highly dependable, hard-working, and trustworthy.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
