As the Head of Testing, you will lead the testing efforts within our organization, focusing primarily on web-based applications. You will be responsible for establishing and growing the testing team, implementing best practices, and driving the transition towards automation.

My client, a public sector organization is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head of Testing to join their team.
Description
Build and lead a high-performing testing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.Define testing processes, methodologies, and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.Drive the adoption of test automation tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage.Identify opportunities for automation and develop automated test suites for web-based applications.Establish quality assurance practices to validate the functionality, performance, and security of web applications.Conduct thorough testing of software releases, including functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing.Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize testing activities.Communicate testing status, issues, and risks effectively to project teams and leadership, providing visibility into the quality of deliverables.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.Proven experience (7 years) in software testing, with a focus on web-based applications.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve objectives.Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.Experience implementing test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, WebDriver, Java, Python).Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
