Job Description
We are looking to hire an experienced Technician for our Garage Equipment Division.
This position will be reporting to the Divisional Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair issues related to hydraulic systems.
- Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators and filters.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of hydraulics and have the ability to repair and replace damaged parts.
- Work in garage settings to install, repair and maintain hydraulic equipment and machinery, such as lifts, cranes and forklifts.
- Ensure hydraulic systems function properly in recommended environments. ∙ Use engineering knowledge to diagnose errors in hydraulic equipment.
Skills
Required Qualification
- ITI/Diploma/Higher Secondary or Equivalent from a two-year college or school of Technical Education
Desired Requirements and Experience
- Must have 2+ years of hydraulic or mechanical systems experience
- Experience in Hydraulic hose crimping and fittings
- Must work well within a team environment.
- Design systems that meet customer needs and project deadlines
- Be self- motivated and take ready to take the initiative
- Ability to work under pressure
- Customer service orientated
- Willing to learn
