Job Specification & Key Accountabilities (Duties include but not limited to):
- Responsible for controlling, monitoring, and supervising Electrical & Instrumentation works by EPCIC Contractor and Subcontractors
- Ensure HSSE, Quality, and Technical contractual requirements are applied.
- Organize/participate in inspections, audits, construction meetings, and promote safety awareness.
- Demonstrate exemplary behavior in HSE, ethics, and code of conduct.
- Prepare and manage construction activities for PROJECT, including HSE compliance.
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, Company standards, and procedures.
- Participate in risk analysis for safe project execution.
- Conduct daily safety tours, toolbox talk audits, and report safety issues.
- Deliver offshore construction projects without additional remedial work.
- Ensure Contractor resources are adequate for workload.
- Monitor inspections, audits, equipment certifications, and corrective actions.
- Monitor Contractor performance, work schedule, and progress.
- Ensure completion of installation steps and pre-commissioning activities
- Report on construction efficiency, quality, planning, and cost
- Track and record uncompleted activities under the punch list system.
- Propose action plans for deficiencies, anomalies, or non-compliance.
- Participate in Construction/site meetings with Contractor/Subcontractors
- Stop work if necessary and report anomalies, violations, and unsafe practices.
- Maintain Contractor relationships while achieving project objectives.
- Carry out assigned duties/projects by hierarchy.
- Prepare a REX (Return of Experience) for discipline.
- New Water Management modules fabrication and installation offshore
- New outboard slots module installation on AB-platform
- EPCIC execution at Contractor premises
- Possibility of worldwide missions or relocations for engineering development
- Base scheme: Rotation in Qatar Offshore (28 days on/28 off) with possible missions onshore/in-country/outside country
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar position
- Extensive hands-on technical, project coordination, and supervisory experience in an Offshore Construction environment (Construction, Engineering, etc.)
- Advanced skills and knowledge of Campaign/Shutdown Management techniques, preferably in petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas exploration, and/or production industries
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong sense of team spirit leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in English (listening, writing, and speaking) and technical vocabulary
- Medical fitness for working on offshore installations
