We are actively searching for a qualified Legal Officer to join our in-house legal team. This individual will be responsible for upholding our company's reputation through meticulous adherence to international legal guidelines, offering insightful legal counsel to the management team on a range of pertinent issues.
The ideal candidate will not only ensure legal conformity but also work proactively to minimize the likelihood of any legal exposure. We are looking for someone with a robust legal background who can provide strategic guidance to safeguard the interests of the company in a dynamic business environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal advice and support to the company on various matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in international markets.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the company's interests.
3. Conduct legal research to stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact the business.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and manage legal risks associated with business operations.
5. Advise on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
6. Handle litigation matters, if any, and work closely with external counsel when required.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies to maintain legal and ethical standards.
8. Conduct training sessions for employees to enhance legal awareness within the organization.
9. Monitor and ensure compliance with data protection and privacy laws.
10. Represent the company in negotiations and legal proceedings when necessary.
