Senior QS and Cost Control Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QS and Cost Control Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience, specifically in landscape projects. The ideal candidate should also have experience in BIM-Revit. This position requires strong knowledge and expertise in quantity surveying and cost control, as well as proficiency in using BIM-Revit software.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and bills of quantities for landscape projects.
2. Estimate and budget project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
3. Review and analyze project contracts and specifications.
4. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop cost control strategies.
5. Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budget and identifying potential cost overruns.
6. Prepare and submit progress reports, including cost forecasts and variances.
7. Manage the procurement process, including preparing bid documents and evaluating vendor proposals.
8. Provide guidance and support to junior QS and cost control engineers.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project costs and related documentation.
10. Utilize BIM-Revit software for quantity surveying and cost control tasks.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost control, specifically in landscape projects.
3. Proficiency in BIM-Revit software.
4. Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles and practices.
5. Experience in preparing detailed quantity take-offs and bills of quantities.
