Job Description

Job Summary:


Avertra is in search of an experienced Odoo Technical Consultant to join our ambitious Odoo implementation team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the technical development, customization, and optimization of the Odoo ERP system to meet our specific business requirements, focusing on technical aspects rather than functional configuration across various modules such as CRM, Sales, Finance, HR, Project Management, and more.


Job Responsibilities:


Odoo Configuration and Customization:

  • Develop and customize Odoo modules (CRM, Sales, Finance, HR, etc.) according to technical specifications and business needs.
  • Implement technical modifications to enhance system performance and user experience.

System Integration and Automation:

  • Analyze and integrate business processes with the Odoo platform, automating workflows to improve efficiency and productivity. 
  • Employ technical expertise to ensure seamless integration of external services and APIs with the Odoo system.
  • Work in collaboration with the testing team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues within Odoo modules.
  • Lead technical aspects of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and performance testing to ensure system reliability and performance align with business objectives.

Technical Support and Training:

  • Provide advanced technical support to end-users, troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing system performance. 
  • Design and conduct technical training sessions for users, focusing on system functionalities and custom features.

Collaboration and Technical Leadership:

  • Engage with technical teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions within Odoo.
  • Serve as a key technical liaison, ensuring effective communication between the development team and business stakeholders regarding system capabilities and development progress.

Documentation and Technical Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for system architectures, customizations, and procedures.
  • Generate technical reports on system status, development progress, and performance metrics, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
