Key Responsibilities:
· The IP Network Engineer shall perform IP network system installation and configuration.
· The Engineer shall be capable of installation, maintenance, and performing programming of the IP network and other different types of associated system.
· The Engineer shall also be capable of troubleshooting problems that occur on the IP network and performing studies to determine problem trends through in depth trend analysis of network system messages.
· He shall be familiar with IP traffic engineering methods and QoS application and be able to effectively use traffic data to manage the network to the required reliability objective. Qualification:
· The IP Network Engineer shall minimum have a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in ectrical/Communications Engineering.
· The person shall have a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in installation, test, troubleshooting and maintenance of the IP network.
· The person shall have experience with the products that will be offered into the project to be used.
· CCNP R&S certification or Equivalent certification on the offered OEM product
· L2/3 transport protocols such as MPLS, LDP, RSVP, L3VPN, L2VPN, VPLS, etc.
· L2 – L7 protocols such as Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, RTP, HTTP/S, FTP, etc. and the ability to analyse traffic flows of these protocols with packet analyser utilities
· Various L2 switching technologies/protocols to include STP/MSTP/RSTP, VXLAN, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, etc.
· Enterprise Level IT Network Development/Design/Upgrade/Maintenance
· Experience with VRFs, ACLs, DMVPN, VoIP, QoS, SNMP, VPC, and VSS
· Cisco IOS/NX-OS configuration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms including routers and switches or Equivalent experience on the offered OEM product
· Experience with IPSEC and GRE tunnel configuration.
· Hands on experience with EGP and IGP routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
· Knowledge of network design "best practices" and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex MPLS issues.
· Strong documentation skills - to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture, defect management and Trainings.
· Very strong problem solving skills
· Proven crisis management skills, and the ability to excel under pressure.
· Kuwaiti Driver license.
· Requirement open for all Nationals
· Required Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering.
· Must have Kuwaiti Driver license.
