Job Description

  • Craft and execute growth strategies for Lebanon and export markets, prioritizing sustainable sales growth and P&L optimization.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive export strategy to expand our reach, focusing on profitability and minimizing environmental impact.
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers and partners to secure sales opportunities that align with long-term sustainability goals.
  • Design and execute marketing and sales campaigns to build brand awareness, drive demand, and promote sustainable practices.
  • Manage and optimize budgets to maximize sales, profitability, and resource efficiency throughout the value chain.
  • Lead a high-performing team focused on achieving sales targets while integrating sustainability principles into all aspects of business operations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, generating leads, building partnerships, and advocating for sustainable manufacturing practices.
  • Analyze markets and identify sales growth opportunities that consider both profitability and environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with regional and global leadership to ensure sales success, P&L health, and alignment with global sustainability initiatives.

Requirements
  • Engineering background (preferably with MBA).
  • 15+ years of commercial experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (Country Manager, GM...) within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and demonstrably growing profitability.
  • In-depth understanding of the Lebanese market dynamics, including cultural nuances, business regulations, and international trade practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing successful sales & business development strategies in emerging markets, with a focus on sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Experience working within multinational firms is highly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and P&L management for both domestic and export operations. 
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and build strong relationships with a diverse team and key stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English; French is a strong asset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities while considering sustainability factors.
