Job Description

Job Specification & Key Accountabilities 

(Duties include but not limited to):

  • Head Construction will participate in the constructability workshop for various facilities with contractor.
  • Head Construction is responsible for the facilities construction in yard, pre-commissioning and preparation, and execution of the hookup activities in offshore.
  • He will be responsible (Company Representative) for all activities (except Commissioning) concerning the Package on board the hook up barge during the offshore phase.
  • To promote & comply with applicable safety instructions and other CLIENT HSE procedures in all activities,
  • To carry out work in compliance with CLIENT values and policies, relevant laws, and regulations, agreed CLIENT priorities and objectives, CLIENT standards and procedures and good industry practices,
  • To assist Package Manager in mobilization, organization and management of the team required to carry out the work,
  • To assist to define Work Time Schedule with objective to reduce the costs and optimize the duration and to ensure compliance with these up to Project Close-out.
  • Lead the Company resources allocated to this task,
  • To interface with Field Operations team members in developing SIMOPS, tie-ins and shutdown scope, philosophy, and schedule for the site activities - new installation, hookup, commissioning, and integration works,
  • To interface with Phase 2 other Package(s) and with CLIENT related entities for brownfield and tie-in works within the existing facilities,
  • Assist the Interface Coordinator in ensuring that all interfaces are adequately defined, monitored, and managed,
  • To manage Construction Works and Hook-up, pre-commissioning and commissioning Detail Engineering progress including follow-up of engineering and vendor documentation reviews to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes, and classification society rules,
  • To act as Company Site Representative during the offshore execution of the work,
  • To assist in close out preparation of the all the stages of new projects from CFT, Detail Engineering, Commissioning, performance tests completion, settlement of any claims, execution of close out certificates including for warranty period commencement, transfer and archiving of final documentations and issuance of close out reports,
  • To carry out any other duty or task that may be assigned by hierarchical superiors.
