Plant Manager (Foam & Sponge Factory)

Overview:

• As the Plant Manager in our foaming factory, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the production process related to foam manufacturing. Your primary objective will be to ensure efficient operations, consistent product quality, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards within the factory.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• Oversee all aspects of the foaming production process, including raw material handling, mixing, foaming, curing, and packaging.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
• Monitor production metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and production specifications through regular inspection and quality control measures.
• Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, engineering, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and timely product delivery.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate a team of production supervisors, operators, and support staff to achieve production targets and objectives.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and training to employees to enhance their skills, productivity, and safety awareness.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork among the factory workforce.
• Address employee concerns, conflicts, and performance issues in a fair and timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines governing foam manufacturing operations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, procedures, and best practices to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental incidents.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a safety-first culture by raising awareness, conducting training programs, and rewarding safe behaviors.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

• Develop and manage the factory budget, including production costs, labor expenses, and capital investments.
• Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and reduce waste throughout the production process.
• Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and take proactive measures to control costs and maximize profitability.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials and supplies.
