Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Management
- Set and have approved monthly, quarterly & annual sales targets for vehicle sales.
- Responsible for achieving monthly and annual sales, revenue & net profitability targets as per budget or as assigned by management.
- Ensure adequate inventory pipeline management at levels stipulated.
- Ensure stock ageing is maintained within the approved stock ageing profile.
- Define & develop sales strategies to address stock imbalances, and competitive threats & to ensure sustainable sales for organizational growth.
- Manage & negotiate dealership benefits with the principle management for ongoing sales, and marketing support.
- Ensure the corporate relationship with principal counterparts is positive.
- Overseeing the monthly sales operating report including margin and profitability to ensure it is complete, accurate and submitted on time to the management.
- Creating a good working and beneficial relationship with lending/leasing institutions.
- To ensure principles of financial support of promotions, unit pricing and sales achievement levels are optimized and claims/payment regularized.
- Coordinating regular meetings with the managers of each sub-department or showroom to ensure their profitability and efficiency.
- Effectively communicating with the Supply chain/ Logistics on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to review stock flow to customers and vehicle forecasts and ensure consistency with annual projections.
- Maintain relationships with key dealership customers and prospects.
- Resolves or escalates any customer complaints that department managers are unable to rectify by taking the necessary steps to address the root cause of these complaints.
- Carries regular weekly and monthly meetings with Sales teams to follow up on business results & delivery against budget.
- Develop & prepare effective monthly, and quarterly to promote sales and targeted profitability.
- Design & develop sales campaigns and incentives for staff on a periodical basis.
Network Development
- Ensures the delivery of annual showroom development targets
- Develop a showroom network across the kingdom on principles of RVI standards.
- Coordinate with the Network development team for the right locations, trade areas & geographical strength for different categories of vehicle sales.
- Coordination with dealership management for PMS network availability as per principles standards across the network.
Management of People
- Accountability for the results of the assigned region, the implementation of the company's human resources policies and procedures, staff discipline (SOPs), performance management, quality and implementation of HSE policies.
- Hiring all management positions, completing performance evaluations regularly and developing short and long-term goals for each department manager (includes administrative, sales, customer services, Fleet management etc.).
- Explaining the policies and procedures of the dealership to all employees and following up with employees to ensure that these issues are understood and followed.
- Maintaining an enthusiastic attitude to build positive employee attitudes and morale.
- Overseeing and maintaining compensation plans for all employees.
- Addresses business requirements of direct manager as needed.
- Training Management
- Ensure appropriate training & development program of all relevant sales staff
- Prepare, develop & coordinate training programs according to Brand business needs.
- Engage HR training functions for a regular & ongoing training schedule as per requirements for various categories of training.
