Our client is an awarding winning Hotel offering luxury rooms, hosting bespoke events with style, popular restaurants and F&B outlets.
 
We are seeking a HSE Manager with experience and knowledge of Abu Dhabi authorities when it comes to Environment, Heath and Safety

<b>Responsibilities</b>

<b> </b>
·       Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.
·       Ensure that the company property is strictly compliant with the rules and regulations of the Environmental, Occupational Health and
    Safety, Food Safety of the Abu Dhabi authorities
·       Build and maintain a working environment in which staff are fully trained, supportive of each other, motivated and competent with hotel compliance relating to Environment, OSHAD & Food Safety
·       Ensure that all staff and service providers are clearly and thoroughly informed about environment, food and health and safety procedures so that they know both how to prevent accidents and diseases and also what to do when emergencies arise
·       Apply Environmental, OSHAD & HACCP policies and programmes diligently and effectively according to UAE, Abu Dhabi local municipality laws, rules, regulations and guidelines pertaining to food safety & OSHAD
·       Implement action plans ensuring the optimal functioning of all areas of food hygiene and occupational health & safety expectations are exceeded in the hotel
·       Effectively manage the administration including  meetings, action plans, reporting, complaints and investigations pertaining to environment, food and occupational health & safety
·       Ensure staff knowledge and conduct monthly internal hygiene and OSH audits of the facilities


Requirements
<b>Requirements:</b>
 
·       3-5 years' experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star hotel
·       Relevant tertiary qualification; NEBOSH or related OSH or SHE Diploma or Degree, and must be attested by UAE MOFA.
·       Good understanding of the Abu Dhabi requirements with respect to Environment, OSHAD and Food Safety
·       a team leader, flexible and build good relations with staff and external service providers
·       Good attention to detail
·       Good communication and written skills
