Job Description
Join our team in Dubai as a Liaison and Salesperson for our clothing and accessories manufacturing company based in Guangzhou China. You will be the bridge between our China office and clients in the Middle East, focusing on growing our market in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with our China office.
- Find and develop relationships with new clients.
- Close sales deals.
- Negotiate contracts to secure beneficial agreements aligned with company goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Explore new markets.
- Monitor and improve business development strategies.
- Develop and implement plans to expand the client base and increase revenue.
- Research market trends to identify growth opportunities and partnerships.
Skills
Experience as a Buyer:
- Previous experience as a buyer in Dubai, preferably in clothing, accessories, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of the local market and key contacts.
Sales and Business Development:
- Strong sales skills, including identifying and cultivating new clients, negotiating deals, and closing sales transactions.
- Experience in business development or client relationship management is a plus.
Market Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the Middle East market, including trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Knowledge of retailers, distributors, and potential partners in the region.
Teamwork and Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective liaison between the China office and Middle East clients.
- Ability to convey information clearly and build strong relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams in Dubai and remotely with the China office.
- Team player mentality, capable of coordinating efforts and sharing information effectively.
- Proactive problem-solving ability to address challenges in sales and client relations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing work environment characteristic of international business.
