Our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned Financial Analyst with a Bachelor's degree, ideally coupled with an MBA or CA, and a notable edge if holding or pursuing CFA accreditation. With 3-6 years of experience, particularly in investment firms or large international groups, you bring expertise in equity research and a track record of providing invaluable research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Proficient in financial ratios, IRR, WACC, and forecasting, you excel in Microsoft Excel, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Power BI and Arabic is a plus. Your adeptness in equity valuations, financial modeling, and understanding international economic trends positions you to thrive in this role, contributing to the organization's success through informed financial strategies aligned with International Financial Reporting Standards.
Requirements
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide insights to support decision-making. Ensuring accuracy of budget uploads into the system.
Financial Modeling:
Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions. Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various scenarios on financial outcomes. Preparing Long Range Plans for bank submission purpose.
Management Reporting:
Generate and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends. Provide regular financial updates to department heads and key stakeholders.
Cost Analysis:
Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Collaborate with operational teams to understand cost drivers and implement cost-saving initiatives. Managing the funds requirements and working capital for the business units.
Investment Analysis:
Evaluate potential investment opportunities and acquisitions. Perform due diligence on financial aspects of potential investments and prepare investment proposals. Monitoring performance of key equities investments. Perform valuation of investments to assess the impairment testing for audit support.
Financial Performance Analysis:
Assess the financial performance of business units and departments. Provide actionable insights to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
Ad hoc Financial Projects:
Undertake special financial projects and analysis as assigned by the Finance Manager or CFO. Assist in the implementation of financial systems and tools to streamline processes. Perform market study of the key trends prevailing into the business unit’s industry.* Peers Benchmarking to build core capability in business intelligence.
