Job Summary
The Senior Automation & Robotics Engineer leads in the designing of an end-to-end stable, scalable and reusable RPA solution design that is within best practices agreed upon in the organization with the aim to lead the process optimization keeping in mind the performance of the delivered solution. The position overseas the overall RPA workflow solution design and providing support to the creation/update of the RPA solution architecture design document.
Job Responsibilities 1
Review codes, engage in licensing requirements, and orchestrate processes (i.e number of robots, schedules, configuration files, assets, queues, etc.) while documenting the efforts in the form of a process definition document (PDD) and development specification document (DSD).
Assists the team in defining the business and functional requirements based on which designs the RPA workflows architecture, which to ensure an efficient and optimum development and functionality of the robots.
Provides support to IT roles within the organization for RPA prerequisites implementation, IT environments setup, installing software, testing and production cut-over.
Explain to RPA Developers the proposed architecture and oversee the development progress.
Control RPA automation solution designs and robotics artifact’s structure.
Ensure consistency and continuity across delivery teams.
Monitor progress and ensure quality of the RPA development phase.
Job Responsibilities 2
Review the code and the design and providing expertise in the development, and integration of systems.
Configure new automation with efficient and easily understandable automation tools.
Partner with the Business Process Owner(s) and Process Excellence Team members to develop a deep end-to-end understanding of processes targeted for automation and outline the impacted processes and business requirements.
Engage with cross-functional teams to develop business requirements documentation of the process to be automated in a manner that is understood by the business users and can be shared with RPA solution design and development teams.
Works with RPA & Technical Team members to facilitate the planning and execution of RPA and other Automation projects.
Work with Business Units to perform value analysis (ROI) for the processes.
Coordinate with the business and the RPA team to identify and provide support for solution designs for production issues and enhancements.
Identify scope, benefits, constraints, and risks for RPA automation initiatives, capture and document current state manual processes.
Identify and document best practices for ongoing RPA adoption.
Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to drive out requirements.
Consider change management implications for implementation of new RPA processes.
Job Knowledge & Skills
Ability to work independently, with limited supervision, whilst participating fully as a member of the RPA team.
Effective Persuasive Communication including the ability to influence SMEs and business stakeholders toward change, automation, and continuous improvement
Knowledge of RPA technologies and spectrum of best practices with process automation and operational excellence
Understand the needs of and support a company with global operations
Ability to translate requirements into processes and controls
Experience with Databases, such as SQL and NoSQL
Proficiency in programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, Python or .NET
Basic knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Mastery of Automation tools, such as UiPath.
Job Experience
Two years of minimum experience in the IT industry with similar experience as an architect.
Experience working with the automation software (UiPath)
Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions.
Experience writing simple SQL queries for data analysis.
