Senior BIM Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior BIM Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience, specializing in landscape and irrigation works, your role will involve overseeing and managing the design and implementation of mechanical systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. Gulf experience is preferred, as you will be working on projects in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, experience with BIM software, and a deep understanding of landscape and irrigation systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement BIM strategies for landscape and irrigation mechanical systems.
2. Collaborate with landscape architects, civil engineers, and contractors to create detailed 3D models and construction documents.
3. Coordinate with contractors to ensure accurate installation of landscape and irrigation mechanical systems.
4. Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between different building systems.
5. Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance during the design and construction phases of landscape and irrigation projects.
6. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on project progress and performance.
7. Maintain and update the BIM database for landscape and irrigation systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology for landscape and irrigation works.
9. Train and mentor junior engineers on BIM best practices and software specific to landscape and irrigation projects.
10. Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations related to landscape and irrigation in the Gulf region.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on BIM for landscape and irrigation projects.
3. Proficient in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
4. Strong understanding of landscape and irrigation systems and their integration within projects.
5. Gulf experience in landscape and irrigation projects is preferred.
6. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with stakeholders.
8. Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to landscape and irrigation in the Gulf region.
9. Experience in the construction industry, preferably with landscape and irrigation projects.
10. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
