Job Description

As a Senior HR Officer in the automotive sector, you will play a critical role in managing and implementing HR initiatives to support the organization's objectives. You will work closely with the HR team, department heads, and employees to ensure the effective delivery of HR services and programs. This position requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws in the Middle East, and the unique challenges of the automotive industry.


Moreover, in the automotive sector, your primary role is to drive process improvements, modifications, and digitalization within the HR function and across the organization. You will work closely with HR team members and other departments to streamline HR processes, implement digital solutions, and support organizational change initiatives.


Responsibilities


HR Process Improvement:

  • Lead the assessment and optimization of HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to simplify and streamline HR operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HR processes with broader organizational goals.

Digitalization and Technology Integration:

  • Drive the digital transformation of HR by implementing technology solutions, such as HRIS, recruitment software, and self-service portals.
  • Ensure the successful integration of digital tools and platforms to enhance employee experiences and HR services.
  • Train and support HR staff in using digital tools effectively.


Change Management:

  • Support the planning and executing of organizational change initiatives, such as restructurings, mergers, or process modifications.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate a smooth transition and minimize disruption.
  • Communicate changes to employees and address their concerns.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the implementation of performance management systems, including digital performance appraisal tools.
  • Ensure that performance management processes align with organizational goals and values.
  • Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and development.

Talent Acquisition and Development:

  • Collaborate with HR and management to digitalize the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Assess and implement digital learning and development solutions to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Focus on succession planning and talent pipelines to support future organizational needs.

Compliance and Reporting:

· Ensure that HR processes and digital systems comply with local labor laws and regulations in the Middle East.

· Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports to support data-driven decision-making.

Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure compliance in all HR activities.
