Warehouse Inventory Officer

We are seeking a Warehouse Inventory Officer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 5 years of experience in managing inventory in a warehouse setting. The Warehouse Inventory Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control and management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling any discrepancies.
2. Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.
4. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential shortages or excesses and take appropriate action to rectify the situation.
5. Prepare and maintain inventory reports, including stock movement, aging, and valuation.
6. Implement and maintain a systematic and organized warehouse layout to facilitate efficient inventory management.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the warehouse.
10. Train and supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Warehouse Inventory Officer or similar role.
2. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
3. Proficient in using inventory management software and systems.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
